Senior Vice President Marketing and Sales of Verex Assurance Inc. A subsidiary of the Dial Corporation, Verex had been a stand-alone NYSE company and was the largest private mortgage insurance provider in the United States with an in force portfolio of $45 billion.

Senior Vice President/General Manager of Verex Mortgage Corporation. This wholesale mortgage bank was a major subsidiary of Verex Assurance, Inc. and provided underwriting and investment banking services to originators seeking access to capital markets. Securities were typically issued in $100 million blocks.

Retirement Living

Senior Vice President Marketing and Sales of American Retirement Corporation. Vice President Marketing of Meadowbrook assisted living and nursing facilities and Bermuda Village Retirement Resort. Authored a technical paper on retirement living options copyrighted by the National Association of Senior Living Industries and published Internationally by Contemporary Long Term Care magazine.

Real Estate

Senior Vice President/General Manager of Ryder Financial and Communications Services Inc. FCS provided credit card, purchase policy control and money transfer services for the transportation industry through more than 700 full service truck stops locations.

Retail Petroleum, Merchandising, Food Service and Lodging

Vice President Marketing of Truck Stops of America. The nation's largest chain of full service auto/truck plazas including diesel fuel for the trucking industry and branded consumer service stations. TA also featured both full service merchandise and convenience stores for the trucking professional and the traveling public. Country Pride restaurants and motels were also part of the TA product offering. I earned an Associate in Restaurant Management from the Burger King Restaurant Operations program and was the corporate franchise officer responsible for TA's multiple location BK rollout.
